Why do you ask what type of rear end I have when ordering a torque arm?
We ask what type of rear end you have when ordering a torque arm because the Strange Dana 60 (S60) rear end requires a rear mounting bracket that is shaped differently for proper fitment.
Our normal rear mounting bracket will work with any stock or aftermarket 12 bolt and Ford 9″ rear ends. So if you order a torque arm and say you have a stock rear end and later down the road you get a 12 bolt or 9″ rear end the torque arm will fit just fine.
The only time you would need to contact us for a different mounting bracket would be for the Strange Dana 60 rear. You can also modify your rear bracket yourself to fit the Dana 60 rear.
What is the difference between single adjustable, double adjustable and “R” series type shocks?
Single Adjustable shocks mean that when you adjust the shock looser or stiffer you are adjusting both the rebound and the compression together, the shock will be loose or stiff both ways.Double Adjustable shocks mean that you are adjusting the rebound and the compression independently. You could adjust the shock to have a loose rebound for great weight transfer and a stiffer compression for a more controlled landing. Double adjustable shocks give you the most shock adjustment control of any other choice.
“R” Series front shocks are adjustable just like a single adjustable front shock but the compression adjustment range is stiffer. This allows you to set the shock to a 90/10 type setting at the drag strip and go back to a stock shock type setting when driving on the street. They are designed for front drag racing applications to maximize weight transfer.

Tubular Front Lower A-Arms with Coil Spring Mounts – 1982-1992 GM F-Body: Camaro & Firebird
Application: 1982-1992 GM F-Body: Camaro & Firebird
1982-1992-GM-F-Body|Suspension|Tubular Front A Arms|Tubular Front Lower A Arms Bushings Spring-Boxes
In May of 2014 we released these RRx Series™ tubular front lower a-arms for the 1982-1992 GM F-Body Camaro and Firebird that set a higher standard of performance and quality. They are truely the new standard of comparison.
All of our RRx Series™ tubular a-arms are designed using aerospace level technology and design tools. First we create a 3D scan of the factory a-arm using a FARO® ScanArm™ with a 3D laser scanning attachment. Then we use that 3D model of the factory a-arm as our foundation for creating a tubular version inside of our Solidworks® 3D design software.
After we’re done designing the a-arm in Solidworks®, we then use that 3D data to design the jig that we will use to build the a-arms. The jig parts are then CNC laser cut and formed on an 8 axis CNC press brake. The final result is dimensional accuracy to within .005″!
When we designed our RRx Series™ tubular front lower control arms, we had two goals in mind. One was to provide the performance capabilities needed for the toughest race tracks, the second was to provide the strength and durability required for the demands of a daily driven vehicle.
We’re proud to say that we have accomplished both. If you’re looking for the strongest, most rigid, and best performing front lower a-arms for the third generation GM F-Body Camaro and Firebird, you just found them!
Our RRx Series™ front control arms are a true “A” arm rather than a “V” arm. This increases the arm’s rigidity and equalizes the forces delivered in to the k-member. These a-arms are completely gusseted to provide for maximum rigidity and durability, as well as zero flex.
The CNC machined coil spring mounting tube is completely surrounded and tied in with CNC laser cut 3/16″ steel gussets that are solid MIG welded. We also 100% TIG weld on CNC laser cut and formed 3/16″ steel bushing tube gussets for maximum strength and durability.
These a-arms are equipped with a CNC machined coil spring mounting tube for installation of factory or factory style (lowering) springs. The coil spring mounting base has a spring ramp that provides for proper clocking and seating of the coil spring around it’s circumference. This allows the spring to spread it’s load across the entire spring seat, not at one small area as other designs on the market do. Note: We do not alter the ride height.
Another feature of our RRx Series™ tubular front lower a-arms that is missing from most of our competitor’s products is a coil spring retention tube. We weld a short piece of 4″ o.d. tube to the base of our coil spring mount for the coil spring to slide over. This locks the coil spring in place and keeps it perfectly centered inside of the a-arm.
These a-arms come equipped with steering stops welded in place that maintain the factory steering radius as well as polyurethane bump stops that maintain the same suspension travel as the factory a-arms.
Finally, we include new spherical front sway bar end links. Our front sway bar end links connect to the a-arm with a self-lubricating Teflon® lined chrome moly spherical joint that provides a bind-free connection for maximum handling performance. The top of the end link connects to the front sway bar with low deflection polyurethane bushings.

RRx Series 1.375″ Front & 1.00″ Rear Chrome Moly Sway Bars with Spherical End Links – 1982-1992 GM F-Body: Camaro & Firebird
Application: 1982-1992 GM F-Body: Camaro & Firebird
Spohn Performance 1982-1992-GM-F-Body/Suspension/Sway-Bars-Accessories/RRx-Series-1375-Front-100-Rear-Chrome-Moly-Sway-Bars-with-Spherical-End-Links
If you’re looking for the ultimate in handling performance for AutoX, all out road racing, and/or meticulous carving of corners on the street, then look no further than our RRx Series™ sway bars equipped with spherical end links.
This kit is the single biggest handling improvement you can make to your 1982-1992 GM F-Body Camaro and Firebird. They dramatically reduce body roll and greatly increase your cornering capabilities. Don’t skimp on the foundation of your suspension!
Our sway bars are larger, stiffer, and stronger 1-3/8″ diameter front (hollow) and 1″ diameter rear (solid) chrome moly sway bars to reduce body roll and provide predictable handling (matched sizing for balanced handling).
Our 1.375″ diameter lightweight tubular front sway bar is made from 3/16″ wall 4130N chrome moly tubing. This bar is precision CNC formed and coined as one piece.
The end seams are TIG welded and the end link coins feature machined chamfers to seal the bar. This tubular bar is over 10 pounds lighter than a comparable diameter solid bar providing maximum performance with minimal weight!
Our 1.00″ diameter rear sway bar is made from heat treated solid 4140 chrome moly spring grade steel. This bar is entirely heat formed and coined as one piece for maximum durability and minimal shape alteration under load.
We put our sway bars through this extensive manufacturing process to ensure that the final product will be the strongest, and most durable sway bars on the market, and the most resistant to form alteration.
Our spherical sway bar end links allow these larger sway bars to reach their full potential. The spherical front sway bar end links connect to your front lower a-arms and the spherical rear sway bar end links connect to the chassis with a chrome plated self-lubricating Teflon® lined chrome moly spherical joint that provides a bind-free connection for maximum handling performance.
The amount of stress applied to the sway bar end links is severe and you need an end link that is not going to flex and/or bind up to obtain the maximum handling performance you’re looking for.
You simply bolt the supplied CNC laser cut and formed 3/16″ steel clevis to the end link mount on your front lower a-arm and to the rear upper end link mount on the chassis using basic hand tools. The clevis features a gloss black powder coated finish and all required mounting hardware is included for a simple bolt in installation.
The other end of our spherical sway bar end links connect to the sway bar with low deflection polyurethane bushings. A silver zinc plated high strength 4140 chrome moly threaded stud keeps everything connected together.
This front and rear sway bars set includes new polyurethane sway bar bushings and spherical front and rear end links, everything you need for an easy bolt in installation and maximum performance!
They’re available powder coated in your choice of the above colors for a brilliant and durable finish.
